With the Cadenza, Kia brings The Power to Surprise to its first-ever premium sedan concept.
The strength and smooth lines of snow-capped mountains provided the design inspiration for the flowing body lines of the Cadenza. A translucent, crystal-like acrylic front grille and muscular 20" alloy wheels add show-stopping accents to a car that was the highlight of the 2009 Seoul Motor Show.
“Sophistication through simplicity” is the overarching design theme that runs through the Cadenza. A glossy black-and-white interior treatment reflects the ebony and ivory keys of a piano, and a spectacular panoramic sunroof – stretching seamlessly from the top of the windshield to the rear window – bathes the cabin in light.
Luxurious appointments and ultra-modern technologies include Alcantara leather 2+2 seating and the industry’s first 312 mm (12.3") high-definition LCD instrument cluster.
The Cadenza, powered by Kia’s refined 3.5-litre V6 Lambda engine, is a near-luxury sedan debuting in the Korean market in the fall of 2009.
