Sportage comes with six airbags, a four-wheel-disc anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic stability control (ESC) and a traction control system (TCS) as standard equipment. So no matter which model you choose, you can rest assured that Sportage has you covered.
SIX STANDARD AIRBAGS
Advanced airbag protection includes standard dual front-impact airbags plus dual front side-impact airbags and full-length side curtain airbags to enhance the safety of driver- and passenger-side occupants in the event of a side impact or rollover.
STABILITY CONTROL
Electronic stability control automatically adjusts brake pressure at the appropriate wheel or wheels and regulates engine torque to help you stay on your path. It’s standard on all Sportage models.
SAFE SURROUNDINGS
Sportage is built for safety, right down to the high-tensile steel in its sturdy subframe and the front crash zone that helps counteract the forces of a frontal impact.
OPTIMIZED BRAKING
Electronic brake-force distribution (EBD) is included with Sportage’s standard anti-lock braking system. EBD redirects braking power to the wheels with the best traction so you get optimal braking performance under all kinds of passenger and cargo loads.
